Shouldered AI  /  For general contractors and remodelers

You be the contractor. We shoulder the rest.

Kitchens, additions, whole-house remodels: you hold a hundred moving parts in your head. Shouldered gives your company one HQ that follows up on bids, lines up the subs, tracks permits and inspections and sends every draw and change order on time. You build it. We shoulder the rest.

What keeps you up at night

"I lose bids because I'm too slow to follow up."

Lydia at the Sales Desk follows up on every bid, answers homeowner questions and tells you which jobs are ready to sign.

"Subs don't show and the schedule slides."

Nehemiah at the Operations Desk confirms every sub the day before, reorders the schedule when something slips, and keeps the homeowner told.

"Change orders never get billed."

Matthew at the Finance Desk turns every approved change order into an invoice and sends draws on your schedule, then chases them.

"Permits and inspections hold up everything."

Nehemiah at the Operations Desk files and tracks permits, books inspections and tells you what the inspector needs before the visit.

What your HQ does

Simon and seven desks of Heroes, working for contractors.

Simon · HQ

Each morning tells you what is on every job site, what is late, and what money is due this week.

Tabitha · Service Desk

Gives homeowners weekly updates, answers 'when is the tile coming' and logs punch list items.

Lydia · Sales Desk

Follows up on bids and design meetings and asks finished clients for referrals.

Matthew · Finance Desk

Sends deposits, draws and change orders, tracks job costs against the budget and chases late payments.

Nehemiah · Operations Desk

Schedules subs and deliveries, tracks permits and inspections, and keeps insurance certificates current.

Silas · Marketing Desk

Shares finished project photos, collects reviews and stays in touch with designers and realtors who refer you.

Simon runs HQ: all the tech and all the brain power, and the one you talk to. Each of the seven desks is run by a Hero, and Simon directs all seven and answers for them. A person approves what matters, and legal, tax, medical and financial decisions stay with you and your licensed advisers.

A day with HQ running

At 7 am Simon tells you the cabinet delivery for the Patel kitchen moved to Thursday, the drywall sub is confirmed and the framing inspection on Oak Street is at 10. The homeowner already got the update. Yesterday's change order for the extra outlet run was signed and billed. Two bids from last week got follow-ups and one wants to meet Saturday.

An illustration, not a promised result.

How the math works

Start

Most contractors start on Small: up to 5 seats and 80 hours a month, $750 a month paid for the year (Founding price: $500, first 50 companies only), plus $1,000 onboarding once.

Grow

Running more jobs at once? Move to Medium (up to 20 seats, 200 hours, $1,875 a month paid for the year). More projects without more paperwork.

Your Hero is here to improve the human. Your HQ, led by Simon, is here to improve your business.

Your investment

Two prices, and 50 Founding places.

First, what the work costs you today. A full-time office manager runs most small businesses about $4,000 to $5,000 a month with taxes and benefits, and goes home at five. Every call nobody answers is a job that goes to someone else.

Business coaching often costs $5,000 to $7,500 for one session day. HQ does the work every month, with a coach running the Shouldered Way and workshops included. Already have a coach? HQ works alongside them.

Prices are per month. Only the first 50 companies (the Founding 50) get the Founding price with a two-year commitment, paid yearly by bank transfer, and keep it for as long as they renew. Pay yearly by bank transfer and take 3% off. Onboarding is $1,000 for Small and $2,000 for Medium, paid once, and free at Shouldered events. It is one 1-hour call: technical setup with our technical team first, then your business with our team. The person who sold you HQ joins your onboarding call. Paid for the year, you get a named person who checks in every month. Month to month gets standard support. Twenty-one people and up is built around you. More seats are $25 each (Founding price $20), and more hours $12.50 each; hours count only while HQ is working, like minutes on a phone plan.

Enterprise and government. For large companies and public agencies. Custom plans start at $5,000 a month. Pilots are paid. We start SOC 2 Type 1 work in 2027. Texas agencies: we are working toward TX-RAMP.

The six-month guarantee · HQ plans

If HQ does not complete at least 40 hours of real admin work a month for you in your first six months (100 hours on Medium), tell us by the end of month five and we refund every dollar you paid for the plan.

The onboarding fee is not refunded. The guarantee asks one thing of you: let HQ do its work. Give it the access it needs and review its work in good faith. If our records show you kept declining or blocking the work HQ set out to do, the guarantee does not apply. If we see that happening, we tell you in writing so you can fix it.

The six months start the day HQ goes live for you. The Founding 50 are included. The guarantee covers HQ only, never coach fees.

Questions contractors ask
Can it manage my subcontractors?

It schedules and confirms subs, tracks their insurance certificates and reminds them of dates. Hiring and contract decisions stay with you.

Does it work with my project management tools?

We connect it to what you use during onboarding. Your customer list, job history and numbers stay in your own system. We work inside it, we do not take it.

Will it handle lien deadlines and contracts?

It tracks dates and keeps paperwork organized. Deborah at the Legal Desk decisions stay with you and your attorney; we prepare and track, we never advise.

How long does it take to get going?

You can try a 7 day trial environment set up for your trade. Onboarding is one 1-hour call. Setup takes up to 30 days, results can show in months 2 and 3, and it runs smoothly by month 6.

What if it does not help my business?

If HQ does not complete at least 40 hours of real admin work a month for you in your first six months (100 hours on Medium), tell us by the end of month five and we refund every dollar you paid for the plan.
